Whoo... well, that time of year is round the corner.

To be honest, my family don't really celebrate it unless there's a party, we used to turn off all the lights around the front and pretend we're not home because of trick-or-treaters. Of course, the police are cracking down on lobbing eggs at doors and windows so we're not so worried about that. But the last time my family did anything for Halloween was when my brother and a friend of the family's were in the scouts, the other kid's unit was throwing a party.

Anyway, during the last staff meeting (which finished before midnight, which made me think Hell was freezing over) there was a demand for dressing up on the day this year, along with the special screenings going on (Coraline for the Kids Club, Jennifer's Body, An American Werewolf in London, and My Bloody Valentine 3D are lined up for the night, and Saw VI is coming out tomorrow).

I got the attention of a few places.

In any case, I was talking to the guy that acts as a liaison between the main staff and the marketing manager while making dinner for my family (my job on Thursday nights, on top of everything else) and he dropped a bombshell on me. Although he and the manager will be taking care of the deals (which is discount for free tickets for the staff) costuming itself will be up to me.

Looks like I'll be in for some fun this week...
